The idea for Little Ruu began at home, inspired by my own kids. I wanted pieces that made them light up - clothing with their favourite characters, playful prints, and styles that got them excited to get dressed each day. But I couldn’t always find what I imagined. So I decided to create it myself.

What started as a passion project quickly became a calling. With a sewing machine at my kitchen table, I began handcrafting small-batch pieces that my kids could wear and love.

From the very beginning, we proudly partner with other Canadian businesses, building relationships that uplift fellow makers. Each piece is made here in Canada with care, so you can feel confident in its quality and origin.
